A lonely, young man yearns for purpose and place in society. When both are offered to him by a mysterious man who seems to have all the answers, he begins a descent into a dark world. The show is one part pulpy horror story filled with getting ghosted, club beats, and buzzy Adderall induced fights; one part potent metaphor exploring modern masculinity. 

Alec Silberblatt is a playwright and actor originally from Pittsburgh, PA. His play RYAN'S PUB, TRIVIA NIGHT has been produced in Ohio and Wisconsin, was a semifinalist for the Bay Area Playwrights Festival, and was workshopped at the Seven Devils Playwrights Conference. A TELL-TALE HEART, commissioned by Pittsburgh Public Theater, premiered online during the pandemic lockdown, and received a live, sold-out world premiere run at Pittsburgh Public Theater in which he starred. His play THE VAMPIRE was workshopped and performed as part of Theatre Aspen’s 2025 Solo Flights Festival, and received one of two Solo Flights Grants. He acted in and co-directed a filmed version of his play THE MON VALLEY MEDIUM for The Studios of Key West. He's been a finalist for the Road Theatre Summer Playwrights Festival, semifinalist for Jewish Plays Project, and his plays have been developed by Theatre Aspen, Third Avenue PlayWorks, Curious Theatre Company, Pittsburgh Public Theater, and Carnegie Stage. He is an alum of Pittsburgh Public Theater's Playwrights Collective, and a member of The Road Theatre's Under Construction Playwright's Group. When not working on theater, he's a senior interpretive guide at the National 9/11 Memorial and Museum.

Paul Edwards is a New York–based director and theatre maker originally from Southeast Missouri. His work includes Off-Broadway at New World Stages, where he served as Associate Director of Drift, as well as collaborations with The Actors Studio, Theatre Aspen, Cry Havoc Theater Company, St. Louis Black Rep, Permafrost Theatre Collective, New Jewish Theatre, St. Louis Shakespeare, and Beijing’s 77 Theatre.

Paul directed Alec Silberblatt’s The Vampire, an official selection of Theatre Aspen’s Solo Flights Festival. He holds an MFA from The Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University and serves as Festival Director/ Curator of the East Village Queer Film Festival at wild project.
